![]() If you want to speed up your traveling process, do carry on only and valet park. No body is perfect but these guys are good. From time to time, I get a driver that doesnt help with the luggage but that doesnt bother me. The car wash on Redwood doesnt do that great of a job cleaning but its free and enough to get the dust off in the summer and salt in the winter. Now its 15 days to get 4 days of free parking. The only negatives are it used to be park there 10x in a year and get a free week, mini detail, or mini-detail. Add the bottled water and the free car (operational about 90% of the time) and there is a $ 7-$ 8 bonus. The drivers are always friendly and there is always bottled water available. Never any major issues and yes from time to time, you have to wait up to 10 minutes (maybe 5% of the time for me, rarely more than 10 minutes) for a shuttle to pick you up at the airport but there are quite a few times they are right there or only a few minutes away. I get myself a cup off coffee, water on the way – those little things I like. 5 days - these are NOT Diamond’s issues) I’ve been using Diamond for 13 years (about 2x- 3x a month) on Redwood Road and always use valet. Some of the negative reviews (my kids are grumpy and we had to wait 10 minutes, I cant use a 7 day coupon when I only stay 6. Im surprised of the # of negative reviews on Diamond. I guess they have more business then they know what to do with and don’t really give a damn. Their customer service and service in general sucks. The last complaint I have is I contacted them to try to get a receipt I lost for my expense report. I don’t want people who can’t figure out to stop a terminal 1 when customers have called or texted changing my oil that’s for sure. The stamps for coupons they give you are also a waste. Like others have said the car wash is a waste of time. They put a cardboard sign in the window… on some of the buses. None of the light up signs on the front work anymore, the ones that tell you which lot. As of late they don’t seem to be able to maintain their buses. Probably one of the buses that passed me by. My other issue was leaving the parking lot the guy driving bus 04 almost hit me. 3 buses drove right past me after I called in to tell them I was at Terminal 1 door 6. Switched over to the Redwood lot, and it seemed to be better. I started out using the the North Temple lot but got too frustrated with the waits for pickups, and seeing the Redwood buses drive past. I have been using Diamond parking for 6 years as I frequently travel for business.
